Hudson Ridley

Hudson Ridley is the Voice of the Asheville Tourists and Director of Broadcast and Media Relations for the club, the Houston Astros' High-A affiliate in the South Atlantic League.

A graduate of the Syracuse University Newhouse School, Hudson is a radio-first broadcaster who built his foundation calling over 300 games across football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball and field hockey. In his time at SU he served as Sports Director at WAER 88.3 and called games for the ACC Network on ESPN+.

His path to Asheville included two summers with the Rocky Mountain Vibes as Director of Broadcast and Media Relations, and a season in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Chatham Anglers.

His style of play-by-play pairs sharp classic radio training with humor and engagement built for both the older listener and the young "highlights generation."
